The Need
The following thoughts establishes man utmost need for salvation in man’s existence.
The Sin Problem and Human Condition

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” - Romans 3:23
The Consequence
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - Romans 6:23
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:” - Hebrews 9:27

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” - Ephesians 2:8
The Response
Receiving salvation is a simple act of a genuine heart decision to acknowledge; believe and commit to Christ (sounds like ABC).

Acknowledging Self and Christ
[9] “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” - 1 John 1:9-10
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” - John 14:6
Believing in Jesus
[25] “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” - John 11:25-26
“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” - Acts 16:31
Confessing Jesus as Lord and Christ
[9] “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. [10] For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” - Romans 10:9-10
[22] “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.
[23] Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.” - 1 John 2:22-23
B. The Result
The Christ Life
Completely Forgiven
[13] “And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; [14] Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;” - Colossians 2:13-14
[16] “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
[17] And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
[18] Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin” - Hebrews 10:16-18

[35] “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
[36] As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
[37] Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
[38] For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
[39] Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:35-39
