The National Executive Committee is the second highest leadership hierarchy in CYSN. It is made made up of the President, Executive Secretary, Missions Director, Resource Mobilization Director, The LETT National Director, The MOM National Director and One Other executive.

As the committee that ensures the day to day running of the entire ministry, the NEC

• sees to the implementation of all decisions arrived and accentuated by the Council of Commissioners (COC).
• sees to the organization of all National Calendar Programs as approved by the COC.
• supervises the entire ministry through the regional, zonal or chapter leadership as the case may be.
• agrees with the regional coordinators to appoint chapter executives in consultation with the COC.
• sees to the collation of end of period reports for onward presentation to the COC.
