Many people say the Christian life is hard and difficult; the higher truth is that the Christian life is impossible to live outside Christ. The best of human efforts give little to no results when it comes to walking the Christ life, resulting mostly in self-condemnation.

The Christ life isn’t an attempt to strive to be like Christ, nor live like Christ, but rather allowing Christ live through you.

Galatians 2:20 establishes this truth strongly: that the Christian life is not what one does to earn any points with God, but rather, it is simply put just giving Christ the permission to work through you. The flesh and its manifestations cannot be tamed or brought under subjection by ‘dos’ and ‘don’ts’. It is only by reckoning the flesh as dead, and therefore giving Christ the free flow to live through you, that you bring the flesh to its rightful place of being in subjection to you.

Philippians 4:9-13 also establishes strongly that the Christ life is the God essence that offers the Believer the versatility to go through all things without succumbing to any of them. In the Christ life, you have the tenacity to accept lowliness as part of the journey to purpose, shutting out pride in its execution.

The Christ life is concerned with how one reacts/responds to happenings, and not even the happenings themselves.Anyone who subscribes to this Christ life, has chosen a path to garner inward strength as their support system rather than relying on external support for victory in this life.

The Christ life employs, trusts and uses divine ways to apply itself and execute the matters of this life in excellence. The call to live the Christian life is simply a call to let Christ live through you.

Hallelujah!
